Too young to remember the 80s?

If it's any consolation my partner tried the 'do you remember the 70s?' Thing on me when we first met (I was in my early 20s) but ultimately it didn't matter because age is not necessarily a barrier and sometimes just because someone is young they don't have to ignorant!
