New Brit Army TV recruiting advert - Why dont they........

In the new army recruiting t v ad the soldiers are doing worthy aid work to aid the civil population of I guess Belize after a hurricane - when they find the road is blocked by a boat - the female who is driving the truck asks the lads in the back to move it - next scene they are all strugling their guts out pulling on a rope trying to move it - why dont they simply push or pull it out of the way with the 4 tonner ? or dont they do common sence in the army any more ? - I know its the ad men who make this crap up - dont think much of the ad - do you ?
