How Do i get my songs to sound like the ones on the radio with my home studio??? Help Please?

I Have a CAD u37 condensor usb microphone and a program called Magix Music Maker 16. i have my microphone boxed in with egg cartons and foam, its pretty sound proof im jus looking for the best sound i can get. i also jus ordered a microphone called "Technica AT2020 side adress cardiod condensor" someone told me i need a preamp too, im jus lost what do i need and what can i change???
