Cooker socker outlet ?

o.k. fellas I am putting in some units either side of a built in cooker , the vertical panel of the new unit and the built in cooker housing unit are ( you guessed) aing at the cooker outlet , I have an inch of play so is it better to have the outlet displayed or put the back on the new unit so it is visible but the unit will be used for storage so things will be put in and out , any advice .
