Question about pacifiers...?

I would say that if you are feeding, do not use them. It is hard enough to not confuse the baby with a bottle and , but to add a third shaped nipple causes nipple confusion. When feeding your baby uses compression and suction to "caress" the milk out. Bottle require suction only, unless you get the new ones made for fed babies. Pacifiers are basically a piece of rubber to suck and chew on. My kids shot them back across the room at me and the idea of them was great, but they never actually worked. The difference in 0-6 mo and 6+ months is the size and sometimes the shape of the nipple. I would suggest not stressing about buying to many as you do not know if your baby will even take one yet, nor what brand she will prefer. I hope this helps....
