What Scenes Should I Skip in Hostel?

I've always been a big fan of the Saw movies, and my friend suggested I watch Hostel to see a really gory movie. I thought that is cool, so I went to reasearch it. I'm 13, and my mom likes the Saw movies also, so we watch them together. But with my reasearch I found that there is tooo much to make it comfortable to watch with my mom. So, the real question is should I skip the first whole Act of the movie to get to the gore? Also, at my local Blockbuster, all they have is the Unrated version, is there anything else suggestive I shouls watch out for?
